Easy fix.
Install Nova Launcher, have it import all of your present Home Screens.
Once you have it tweaked like you want it to stay, go into Nova Settings and Lock the Screens.
Once that is done, nothing can change unless you give it permission to change.
Easy to make an instant change too, when trying to "move" or "delete" an icon or app, a picture of a padlock shows up on the screen. To get permission to do the change, you have to Long Press the padlock.
* Nova Launcher - Android Apps on Google Play
just in case you want to flit back and forth between your old Home Screens and Nova, just to compare the two until you get familiar with Nova, install this neat app.... It allows you to change launchers on the fly...
* Nova HomeSmack - Choose Launcher by Nova
After a while, HomeSmack just became one of those things "I used to use"...
Once you explore Nova launcher, I doubt you ever go back to the old OEM launcher. I like being able to continuously scroll the home screens around, instead of having to backup 7 pages to get back to page 1.
