Wallpaper help please

How do I make custom wallpapers for my droid milestone? I want to make a 1 home screen wallpaper and I want it all to fit on one screen, what dimensions do I need? Thank you very much.

If you just want to use 1 screen and just ignore the others, make the image you want 480x854 and center it on a 960x854 black (for instance) wallpaper. If you want to use more than 1 screen and have the wallpaper not scroll as you swipe through them, there are apps that let you do that, but I don't remember what they are or know much about how they work. I'll poke around here and see if I can find out more, if you want.

Edit: Here - I modified this template to fit the milestone. The red area is what should be visible on the center screen. Use the download or share buttons on the linked page to save it at the full 960x800

The docks i have all seem to be: 480 x 84
