Wallpaper Issue

I'm a BRAND NEW smart phone user, and I am having trouble with my wallpaper. I assume it is probably an easy fix, but I just cant seem to find it! I have a Motorolla Droid Pro. All of a sudden I have a "halo" effect around all my wallpaper screens??? How do I get rid of this darn thing?

Not exactly sure what you mean by "halo effect" but to change your wall paper, long press (touch and hold for more than 2 seconds) any open area of a home screen and choose wallpaper. You can either use stock wallpaper or pick something from the gallery.
