Wallpaper size?

Newbie
Anybody have any ideas on what size image will make a full screen wallpaper for the 10.1? Every image gets cropped and then I only have a portion of what I want for my wallpaper. What size will get me a full screen after the crop?

I tried this app but still unsuccessful. The picture seems to be settling towards the bottom of the screen and not centered. On some images, the picture is zoomed in. What settings are you using?

I use my tab 98% of the time in landscape mode.

I've seen that with smaller images as well. I use the highest resolution images I can get, but even the stock cropper couldn't fit them in. That's where this app has worked beautifully for me.
 
There are a bunch of threads on this with the exact same problem in the Xoom forum, if that helps. I know people have provided some templates that might help too.
 
I tried Wallpaper Wizardrii and it worked great! Thanks for the tips one and all...

what settings do you use when you use Wizardrii? Everything I've tried I just can't get it. I'm using a 1280x1024 image. Sometimes the wallpaper starts flickering. Trying to create wallpaper to fit landscape mode.
 
i have a photo with text that i really want to set as my lock screen. Every time I set it..the words get cut off and it seems to zoom the photo...i downloaded wallpaper wizardrii and it just sets my photo as the background wallpaper. Any ideas/suggestions? thank you

The crop screen allows you to move and/or resize the cropped area. Make sure your image is larger than the screen size and adjust the crop to fit the part of the image you want to use.

Remember that the crop tool on the Tab is designed to cut out two overlayed sections that allows both landscape and portrait modes out of one image, so you can never get the full portion of a typical image or photo without cropping. Or you can edit an image with sections of black along the outside sections of the portrait/landscape areas.

I have been reading and trying for ages and finally "Wizardrii" solved my problem! I had to be persistent, though, as it didn't work right away. I tried quite a few times (didn't change settings), until it finally worked. Also, it must have done something else, because I now could use "Gallery" to size the lockscreen correctly, which was impossible before. Here also I needed several tries. Oh yeah, I forgot to say that it also needed one reboot.
