Help wallpaper

When I set a picture as my home screen wallpaper, the editor pops up and allows me to change the dimensions of the wallpaper. It looks like there is extra image on the left and right sides of the main image, but when I scroll through the home screens in either direction once I set the wallpaper, the picture stays the same. Is there some type of setting that might be disabled that would allow that to happen?
 
The Stock S3 launcher can not use scrolling wallpapers. You can download a different launcher that would.
