Want Google Navigator (Beta)

It did not download on my new Vibrant phone and it did not come with the update.

I had it on my G1 and I want it on this phone. Where or how can I get it?

My G1 had the navigation short cut on it and I would just push the arrow icon on the home screen and up would pop the short cut and I would push the speak button and say the address and it would open the map program and find my location and away I would go. This is the feature I would like to have on the new phone,

Any one know how to get this feature working again?

uninstalled maps and re installed it and now the navigator program showed up
