want to use wireless internet with my pc via phone

I want to set up so that my phone is connected to wireless network (router) and wired to my pc so that i can use internet. So far I only seem to be able to share my phone's data plan (3g) with my pc. Internet tethering seems does not work for wireless. As mobile phones data plans are expensive and at the moment i have no possibility to connect computer to wireless router, does anyone have any suggestions that could help me?

so you are trying to use your phone like a wireless bridge? If you plan on connecting your computer via a landline, why not just use the landline directly connected to the router? doing so would be a lot faster than anything you could conceivably do with your phone. the same applies to connecting to the router wirelessly. If your computer doesn't have wify, hooking up a WIFI card is easy and cheap. Both are much better, faster and permanent solutions than what you are trying to jury rig.
