The older I've gotten, the more I research past wars, the more I realize that most wars were just a couple of guys who had big egos that we allowed to get out of hand...aka not needed at all. Are we safer from the current wars, I dont believe so. Have helped out the people, we helped some group of people, hurt other groups.

I wont go into my thoughts on the current wars are about, just saying that in the history of the world including USA, most wars didnt start due to a threat and many wars were started due to an imaginary threat.

Always said if two leaders had an altercation. Then they should go in the boxing ring and settle it there. Last one standing was right. Would save a lot of lives and maybe they would try harder to work things out diplomatically.

Nice idea, but then you'd end up with democratically elected leaders who would be most likely to win a fist fight, as aopposed to leaders who actually have a working brain. not sure that would end well.
