I am new on here but have been viewing as a guest for some time.
I just wanted to bring to everyones attention , although it has been highlighted here and elsewhere before, that there are counterfeit "Samsung" HML adapters being offered for sale at the moment on Ebay. I know because I bought one. There is a twist though as it is being advertised as a " GENUINE ORIGINAL SAMSUNG BRANDED PRODUCT" and is being dispatched from the UK ( although the Ebayer seller is in Hong Kong) in a genuine Samsung box unsealed and without the internal packaging shown in the pix.
It works but the HD quality is poor. It has all the right Samsung markings but the construction matches the descriptions elsewhere of fake examples. ( eg mini USB socket upside compared to genuine item).
I have opened a case with seller via Ebay resolution centre,requesting at the very least a full refund but so far the seller is not responding but just continuing to sell the adapter.
There are some genuine items on Ebay but there are also some from other sellers in far east that look suspiciously the same as the one I have so BEWARE.
