Warp Sequent Jellybean Update

Hi. I was wondering is there a way to get the official jellybean update for the sequent. I called boost and they said zte has to send the update. I called zte and they said that they can't send it and to use the phone the way that it is. I know the update came out in July and the phone is advertised at having Jellybean 4.1. Can someone please help me get the update. I'd rather the official update but I'll root if I can use all of the phones functions. Thank you

Your phone easily meets the minimum h/w specs for upgrade. If neither ZTE not your carrier can provide the update, then waiting or rooting are your only options. If you go the root option, sign-up as a member and then post here for assistance.
