Warranty?

I'm considering going to Walmart this week and picking up one of these for my girlfriend. If I buy it and the warranty will she be able to use the warranty?

Sure, the warranty goes with the tablet. As long as she can present all the paperwork, there won't be a problem. Wally World is pretty good at that stuff. :)

I just picked one up for the boss, haven't even opened it up yet. It was listed as 149 and even though I showed the counter person and the front end clerk the website couldn't get it for 129. Is there a way to get the twenty back?

Yes, hang on to the receipt & return to the store. Go straight to the returns/refunds desk & request the difference.

As you did before, it wouldn't hurt to have the reference to date of the price change.
WalMart is usually pretty good about these sort of issues/transactions, I'd be surprised if you have to do anything other that this.

Another option would be to go to another Wal-Mart location & request the difference, as Wal-Mart usually honors other stores/locations transactions.

I have a friend that went through this exact same hassle. She couldn't talk them into giving her the difference, so she just returned the tablet. Then she went online and ordered the tablet for $129, with in-store pick-up. Problem solved.

Each store seems to have their own policy. I got mine 7/17 in DE and tried to get cash back in a PA store. They said couldn't do as it was not from their inventory (whats this? a chain?) but would if bought it there. Called the De store and they say their price match max is 7 days, return is 15 days. Even if I could return it, but the work I've done in setting up and rooting is not worth chasing $20 and less if I buy it in a sales tax state like NJ or PA. I'm happy even at $149. Its one of the best tech items I've gotten lately.
