Help Was there a push last night?

Early this morning while messing with my Induge, something loaded several times through the "Media scanning" function at startup. Showwed a loading status bar that I had not seen before....took quite a few seconds to load, showing a percentage as it loaded. It did it at least twice (on its own) so don't know if it "took" or not the 1st time.
I notice my 4g is actually working this morning. For just about the first time during the day with this particular phone.
Anyone else notice a change?
I just did a reboot to double check what media scanning was actually called and my internet still comes right up....cool!

Edit; I'm pretty sure my firmware and baseband numbers are the same but I don't know about kernal. Wouldn't the firmware number change on an update?
firmware: 2.2.1
baseband version cdma R910.0.4M.EA29 LTE SCH-R910.EA17
Kernal version 2.6.32.9
build # SCH-R910.EA29

Speedtest shows about 1.4mbps up and down. Most of you would be unhappy with that. Buts it's way better than I ever got from Sprint. I'm in the only dead zone on my side of town. I think it's cause there is a slight rise surrounding us. Never have gotten awesome reception here in my house.
My speeds were at 1.5 before my switch. I'll check when I'm out and about. Should be better up the street.
Point is, my 4g seems to be working, albiet slowly (by others standards), now.
