Hello everyone,
I've got a Droid X that no longer functions because I'm stupid and took it with me on patrol a few months back. Of course, with my luck, that happened to be one of the only days that it wanted to rain in Afghanistan.
Anyways, I have no use for it. I've since cashed in on the insurance and the lady was even nice enough to upgrade me to Droid X2 (Although I'm sure it was just because I was a little *agitated* that they waited 2 1/2 weeks to tell me they can't ship to APO/FPO addresses after claiming they could) and I have no use for the Droid X.
I'm sure there is some tech tinkerer out there that could part the thing and mess with it, if you're interested just PM me and we'll see what we can figure out. Probably just end up giving it away
Just FYI, the device was on when it was soaked so, more than likely, its fried but you never know. Just figured it would be a waste to toss in a "Used cell phone" bin if someone could get use from it yet. No peripherals will be included, just the phone itself, I'm keeping the SD card since it still working.
Just out of pure curiosity I'd like to know what whomever gets it does with it. I won't be trying to ask for it back or anything once its gone. Pure learning experience is all.
