WAV to MP4 Conversion

All,

I have a wave file and would like to convert into MP4 format which can be play back in Android phone thru android audio sdk.

Please share your experiences.

1. I have tried conversion using QUICKTIME. But could not work.

I use db Poweramp. costs a few bucks, but it's an awesome program. I've used AVS 4you before also, but my 1 year license ran out, so i'm sticking with poweramp.

Audacity. It's free. There's other free options too, so yeah, don't bother paying for it.

i've used it, fell in love with poweramp, lots of formats supported, including flac, and granular control of bitrate etc... anything i need to convert, i right click, edit tags single or batches, configure to specs i want, convert. it's FAST, and i'd pay for it allover again. you get what you pay for...

Can do all of that with free software. Other options that can convert wav to compressed formats are CDex (one of my favorites), and EAC (Exact Audio Copy). Both free, both let you control bitrate and many other options, and both let you convert to any format (including flac), both fast too.

dbpoweramp was good back in the day when it was free, but I haven't used it since they started charging. In my opinion it's not worth paying for when free works just as well.
