Help Way to connect my phone to PC for data transfer without being able to change USB settings??

My phone (ZTE Vital/Virgin Supreme) has a broken screen and I can't really use the touchscreen at all. I want to pull all my photos off it, but I can't go into the USB settings on my phone and set it to data transfer without my touchscreen. I'm sure by default it's set to charge only. When I connect it to my PC, I don't see any data at all. Is there a way to access my phone's data somehow?

Also relevant: I apparently don't have a micro SD card. It seems I've just been using the phone's internal memory, so that is not a solution.

Thanks in advance!

If by any chance you have a very old phone that's still running 2.3 or earlier then there used to be a way, e.g this app which one of our moderators wrote. But I don't think that type of trick works any more.

If you have USB debugging enabled then there would also be a way ("adb pull), but if you haven't (which is the default) we can't enable it without the touchscreen. If you are rooted and have a custom recovery it might be possible to use adb from recovery mode, but again if you are not then we can't do that now.

If any of those conditions (old android, usb debugging enabled, custom recovery) does apply then let us know and we'll give more detailed instructions. But I don't know any workaround that works without any of this.
