Agreed. There used to be lots of them, but were removed during the AF makeover. Would like to have them back.

What's weird is looking back at old posts and seeing :grin: (or whatever) where the emoticon used to be.
Also--and I don't know how many others are affected by this--when I use gboard to insert an emoji (and ONLY for that purpose!), it's there, I can see it... But after I post, it's GONE without a trace.
Not even a blank space. Given that, I restrict myself to only using AF's emojis.

Most non-forum emojis from my phone keyboards show up as a #1234 series of numbers I see this on other peoples posts too.
