Help Weather Widget

I have an Alcatel Onetouch Fierce 2 and I'm trying to figure out how to put the weather widget back on my home screen. It was acting up so I took it off to see if that will help, but I can't check because I don't know how to put it back on. Can anyone explain how to do it?

Hold your fingertip down on the screen, a widget will pop up asking what you want to add to the homescreeen, choose apps, then your favorite weather app. That should do it.
