I only got my Samsung Galaxy Ace yesterday morning (Saturday) and the weather on the home screen is for Sydney NSW. As I live on the coast in Southern Victoria (well below Sydney NSW) I would like to have my local weather featured instead. Please how do I do this? The girl at the mobile phone shop did not know how to change it for me.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

If you are using the default TouchWiz weather widget, tap on the weather and it opens the current weather. From there touch menu and you can go to settings to enable current location. If you do that, the weather will display based on your current location. If you always want it to show the weather for Southern Victoria, then go to menu and uncheck enable location, then go back to menu>city list and remove any cities and only have Southern Victoria listed.
