Web browser not working

So for the last week of so the standard web browser hasn't been loading pages for me, I've downloaded Opera Mini which seems to work find but I would really like to fix the standard browser, has anyone else ran into this problem

[FONT=&quot]Have you tried clearing the browsers settings and cache?(home/menu/settings/applications/manage applications/all tab/scroll down and select Internet/ do all three...force stop, clear data,& clear cache.) After this, using the back arrow, press it several times until you return to your home screen. Then maybe reboot the phone (turn off, then back on). Try your browser. Does that help?[/FONT]
