Does an app exist that will let you take part of a webpage and use it as a widget? Preferably with an auto-update feature, so you can always see an up-to-date thumbnail of that website?
I'm actually trying to do something very specific. Derek Jeter is approaching the 3,000 hit mark, which is a big deal if you're a Yankee fan. ESPN New York actually has a website devoted to the countdown, (New York Yankees Captain Derek Jeter's quest for 3,000 hits - ESPN New York) and a little ticker on the side counting his hits.
I'd like to put that ticker on one of my home screens so I can know when 3,000 is approaching.
So is there any app that can take a portion of a webpage and turn it into a widget? Or does anyone know another way I could go about putting something like that on my home screen?
Thanks.
