Weeks numbers appear as events in calendar

In Calendar, week numbers are shown as events every day, creating a light blue mark in the top left corner of every day in the month-view so that it's impossible to know what days are planned with events and what days are without plans.

When pressing Calendars by the menu button, I can make Week Numbers not visible, which solves the problem, but I'd actually like to have week numbers shown, but without creating those marks, but how can this be done?

I have no idea what device you have (it's always a good idea to fill out that part of your bio so others know what you're using and can better assist you), but I don't have that option on my calender app so it might be an OEM customization. That being said, if you can only toggle it on and off, you might want to look at other apps or widgets instead of the stock calender to get the function you want.
