Weird Charge Issue

So last night I got home after my battery had died and plugged my phone into the OEM fast charger. Once the phone booted up I noticed that I would constantly see the "fast charging" indicator pop up on and off. The phone was charging but it seemed pretty odd. I noticed that when the indicator would flash a brief white box as if it is trying to tell me something about the charging connection briefly flashed. Upon further troubleshooting I booted into safe mode and the problem stopped. I booted back into the regular enviorment and the problem started again but this time less frequently. I have a hunch this might be an OS bug and before I wipe and reformat I wanted to glean out from past experiences.

Thank you community!

I haven't been having those charging issues, but since the last update, I've had problems with overheating while charging and general use (browsing the internet). I did an insurance claim and all was fine until the update forced itself. Now my new phone is having the same overheating issues and draining fast

My phone is also kinda acting wierd. Fast charging doesn't happen always, I need to unplug and plug back multiple times to finally get that fast charging displayed. Have you guys faced similar problem ?

This happens for me sometimes too. I get a message saying to use the original charger for fast charging, when I'm already using it.
I think there is an issue with the original cable.... now i changed the cable to some other brand, it works like a charm. Thats wierd, Samsung should improve the cable quality in that case
