Help Weird error screen

Hi,
Today one of my coworkers got this weird error screen in his Magic. It totally freezed his phone letting him do nothing. After I took the picture with my Legend he removed the battery to switch the phone off, switch it on again and it worked as normal as ever.
I just wanted to know more about this error.

I just wanted to know more about this error.

That looks like a variant of the download mode screen. Most android phones have this mode for troubleshooting and using ODIN.
