Weird message?

I keep getting this weird message/notification. Anybody know what this is?

"not registered to button. Please set the button on the tab button. "

That's so strange and the English is so bad, it sounds like a virus!

More likely, though it's an error message from some poorly coded app: have you installed or updated anything recently? You could try uninstalling the app (or the update) see if the message disappears.

The only thing I have installed recently is pie control..
