This has happened a couple of times. WhatsApp messages time-stamped at around 3pm showed up around 3am, complete with notification sound ( which woke me up). Now the late delivery could be a WhatsApp issue, but how come I get the notification sound during my downtime (alarms only)?. WhatsApp is up to date. Never had this happen before Oreo.
