Weird purple screen with pixel art martini and battery charging animation

A couple times my screen has gone black and then flashed up a screen with a purple background, pixelated martini glass, and battery charging animation. It disappears quickly when I try to interact with the screen. I haven't been able to replicate it or figure out where it comes from.

Has anyone seen this or know what causes it? Is it malware??animation

What you are describing is the HTC dot view screen. Try holding a mild magnetic field near your phone. With a little manipulation you can make it replicate the screen you have seen flashes of.

It's not malware, just your phone reacting to a magnet field.
