i recieved an update today that was 23mb. weird thing is i was already on 4.1.2 and im still on it.

I totally agree with SUroot on this one.
What makes anyone think they'll see any difference with a small(ish) update ? They could be bug fixes, optimizations of features you might not use, more efficient coding. Things that under the hood make things run better, but might not be noticed to the user. After all Windows provides many an update for it's OS on PCs, mostly just security patches and I can't ever say that it's made it slicker or better.
