So this is a bit odd.
Win8.1 x64, LAN connection to the cable modem (not wifi).
If I am in Chrome (primary browser I use) and load up youtube, the network connection will drop within minutes, sometimes seconds. If I let the computer sit for a while, it comes back on its own.
This doesn't happen with other video sites (like vimeo for example) OR with other browsers. If I load Firefox I can watch youtube videos until the cows come home without an issue. Of course that hogs even more resources on the system (Chrome is a real pig, it's nearly as bad as SQL for stealing memory, ha ha).
Anyway, perusing the internet hasn't found anything useful (there are lots of references from earlier in the decade with an issue related to AVG, but I don't use that). I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this kind of odd behavior.
