Root Well folks, it's been fun!

It's been fun, but, I'm outa here... I bought a [barely] used RAZR MAXX HD on eBay and gave my son my Spectrum, so, my [once] beloved Spectrum is still "in the family". He loves it! I've really appreciated all the input I've received from this forum over the last year and a half, but, it's time to move on. So far the battery on the MAXX HD is awesome [which was always my main issue with the Spectrum]; blows everything else I've had away! I'll check this forum every once in awhile just to see what's going on and if I need any reference for what is now my son's phone.

Muchos gracias to all of you!!! Be well and may you live long and prosper!!!

I'm in a similar position. I just picked up a used GS3 and will probably be selling my Spectrum as well. Everybody here has been great and I may still pop in every now and then. It's been real, people.

How much did you pay for the razr maxx hd?

... $296 with free shipping. Then the seller lowered their price to $274 within a few days and wouldn't honor the new price, saying that it says in their eBay listing [fine print] that they don't price adjust. I could have returned it, but, figured, what the heck, live and learn. That being said, I won't do business with Gazelle again. They're a big reseller of used cellphones.

gazelle used to be great, now they are all about the money, still good shop and yet I got a better price for one recently, I just buy and sell so I still keep my spectrum but rzr hd its great its like the gsm version of the spectrum and from motorola, when it comes to specs, but I still like better been able to get a bigger battery and the buttons marks below the screen, and I like the camera on the spectrucm better too yet motorola has a way better sound

Well, I take back what I said about Gazelle. First off, it was $274 for only a few hours and then it went to to $276 which was the price I had complained to them about. They emailed me and asked if they credited me back $20 [the difference between what I paid, etc.] would I change my feedback on eBay. I told them yes, changed my feedback to something more positive and they credited my PayPal account twenty bucks! I guess it pays to be cranky sometimes! Not sure why they don't just tell people they'll credit price difference, if in a reasonable length of time, in the first place. Save a lot of screwing around and possible hard feelings.
