Help What app can require password or fingerprint before opening a file?

After unlocking the phone by password/fingerprint, is it possible to have another layer password/fingerprint request whenever I tap an app?

For example, if I tap SMS/whatsapp/gallery app, I would like it to request for password/fingerprint before opening the app.

(I am using Samsung Note 8)

Thanks.

Note 8 should have a Secure Folder - you can have apps (even a separate, second version of the same app) run in the Secure Folder. A separate password, PIN or pattern is required to access that folder. Anything in the folder, like photos, cannot be accessed outside the folder. It's almost like a separate, super-secure phone within your phone.

If I use secure folder, I would need to move my files to the secure folder correct? Would I need to reinstall whatsapp/sms app...?

Is there some app that can add a "password/fingerprint protection" to any app that I have now? For example, adding a ""password/fingerprint protection" to sms app, when I tap sms app it will require my fingerprint/password first before the sms app is launched.

I use a freebie called Norton App Lock, I like it because it's very simple and doesn't nag me to buy other Norton apps.
