what app works for voice dialing?

i have cyberon voice command. i press it and say "Call Home" it will dial automatically

it will check your address book contacts. i find it 98% accurate

Hate to say this, but an Android should not have to require a third-party app to make a factory-provided feature work, when the feature is supposed to work on its own. I may have to just wait until something that's neither Apple nor Android surfaces... *sigh*

Depends on the Android device, and whether the manufacturer has implemented voice dial or not. I don't know the Thunderbolt, the OP's phone. Although a search suggests it's an HTC on Verizon. There's many phones that don't have it, or there's quite a few round here do have voice dial, but they only understand Mandarin.

Google Now can dial numbers on command, "OK Google, call mom." or something like that.

The Ace Style does indeed have a voice-dial feature: it tells me to "Say 'dial'" and then contact name, followed by a beep. No matter what I say, it then says and displays "Sorry, didn't get that".

Just found out it may be a Bluetooth Headset compatibility issue. I use a Plantronics Explorer 360, it apparently is old-tech. I'll have to get a newer Bluetooth and see...

I like Google voice dialing. It works even when not connected to the internet.
Call 123 555 5555
Or
Call John Doe
(assuming John is on your contacts list)

I think it requires JB or later.
