lve recently managed to get my ZTE updated l did try the 2.2 version of android but after the update l was asked for an unlock code, technically this wouldnt be a problem however every time l clicked on the box to input the unlock code the keyboard would force close (l tried both the android one and Touchpal) annoyingly l had to revert back to the original android with my backup...
l then proceeded top try the Cyanogenmod-7-05192011-nightly-mooncake mod (android version 2.3.4, while l did have issues with the basic Touchpal keyboard force closing l managed to get a new version from the android market which seemed to work (tho its more annoying than the phones version or at least the one l preferred on the stock version of android that was installed).
in any case does anyone know of any better roms for my ZTE Racer than the one l have already got? and or does anyone know why the 2.2 rom l found (here) didnt work properly? (please note the link within that post is dead but someone else posted them elsewhere on the board, annoyingly l cant find it as easy as l did last time).
in either case l like to know what l did wrong so if l do it again l know how to fix the issues, or if there is a much better version of android for my phone with allot more interesting stuff on.. (tho l will note lm trying to find the calibration tool on my currently installed ver of android to no avail as sometimes the touch screen gets annoying)

the screen calibration was so annoying or lack thereof the modded version of the mod l was using seemed to be calibrated specifically for the ZTE Racer, just thought l would pass the info along.
