What are the major differences between Note 4 v Note 8

Okay guys, let me ask you this ... have you ever had a non-removable battery not last for at least 2 years? I couldn't find any statistics on that. I'd say that it's not a huge percentage. If it was deliberate and expected, I'd think we'd see it happening more frequently and there'd be a much bigger after-market battery business then there is.

I can give you 20 reasonable, legitimate reasons why the warranty for batteries MIGHT be only one year, but frankly we're both just speculating. Let's just say you're half empty and I'm half full. And yes, you are free to speculate what I am half full of. ;)
 
You misunderstood. I am not saying the the terms of the warranty are debatable, only that the reason(s) for the different terms between the phone and the battery are.
