Help What are these ruuning services

Newbie
I am just curious about these running services in my Samsung Galaxy. I am running out of memory, and would like to turn things off if they are not essetial.

wssstartservice
omadrmconfig service
Snsservice
smlstartservice

What are those services? If I shut it off, what will it affect? Thanks. I am sure this must have been posted before, but I can't find them answered.

The DRM Service handles file protections I believe. I remember when you needed to get a ringtone on a Sony Ericsson walkman device you'd need to use a DRM package manager, which would add the encryption to the mp3 file.

I believe this is a service that detects those encryptions when you open up certain files, albeit, not with only mp3 files. It could be used for ANY kind of file. I wouldn't disable this, but if you do it will probably just start right back up when needed anyways.

The SNS service seems to handle network locator calls for various apps. This could be built in apps or market apps. Again, it will be started when needed again.

The other two I don't know anything about. But again, I wouldn't disable any or these services. They're all needed by the system and will be stopped/started when needed.

Hope this helps!!
