What are you using for texts?

Switched from iPhone 7 to Galaxy s8 this week. I m using Android messenger right now but am looking for a good text app that will let me see a log of pics and other files sent in a conversation like imessage does. If Android messenger does it, I haven't been able to find it yet.

I used Chomp for a long time, and the Darling Bride still does on her S8 Plus. However, I told myself when I got my Note 8 I would give Bixby a good, honest try. So I use the stock messaging app.

There are good things about it like Bixby integration ("Hi Bixby: open camera, take a selfie and send it to _______ in Messages"); and challenges (no dark mode). But I fixed dark mode by using a completely black image as the background image - you can use any image. So if you want to give Bixby a try, and it's really good with complex commands, I can suggest the stock Samsung Messages app. Otherwise, it's hard to go wrong with Chomp.

Honestly I switched to the Google app because I don't like the look of the Samsung icon. I guess I should have checked it out first. Ha

Hi, I've searched for a long time for a texting app that had a nice layout as well as plenty of modification options. I've used Textra for over a year now and couldn't be happier.n

Before my phone crashed, it had a lot of troubling texting people kept on saying "messanger +" is not respodning.

Hey everyone. I know there are certain guidelines I'm a to follow while posting in the forum. I apologise if this is the incorrect placement for this question. I have given up attempting to gain root access to my now very battered and recucitated zte zmaxpro. My question is this, can anyone recommend a second phone that definitely is rootable, nice screen at least '5.0, Android, of course. Oh and another little giggle in my life is my Samsung J3 Prime. The ONLY one (not really but damn near) that also has an unlockable bootloader (with Knox of course, ugh). My next phone should be a..and go...
