What did you get for Halloween?

I got two large bags of mini M&M bags that no kids came by to get. I felt like Charlie Brown with his rock. Not 1 kid knocked on my door or rang my bell. Life in the big city is not what it used to be.

I got a fun night out at an AHL game with the kid. No sense staying home or buying candy, last year was a total trick or treater bust.

Kid home + hockey = yay!

My driveway is 300 feet of gravel back into some trees on my six acres.... so, no little gobblins came by this year.

took my kid and her cousins out Trick or Treating...

I have noticed less and less porch lights on... even some of the houses with porch lights on DONT open their doors! few of these even have Halloween decorations.

It seems to me .. Halloween is disappearing.
part of the reason.. schools are not allowed to participate in this holiday like they used to.
I am not even sure if I care .....

I got snacks, libations, fellowship with lots of my closest friends, a trophy for best couple costumes, oh and a World Series win by my Kansas City Royals. (Well they won game 4 on Halloween, took it all last night - but really Halloween for me was the weekend not the day).

Went to my sister's place, eight or ninth time over for hallow's eve.
In the past was alone since no one visited over here in the middle of country anyways.. But hey its better to have to chill out with them
