What do ya think of still ownin the S5

Still have the global Galaxy S5, G900F, but now that Samsung have stopped supporting it for Nougat, Android 7.1, I have switched to the much lighter and almost stock Android, Lineage custom ROM on my rooted S5.

Mine is slowly decaying: I'm stuck between staying loyal to my Samsung boys and getting the S7 or something, or jumping on the OnePlus bandwagon... 😅 But the S5 is a trooper, no doubt about it. It's always kinda nice too to see other people on the street with one, it reassures you that they've not disappeared!

I don't need root anymore, I have all annoying system apps unistall. So, I'll update, then recieve other OTA updates. Now I don't need to play with the root capabilities anymore. But I do miss a little those times. And that first bootloop.... yes I really miss 2016/early 2017. I personally think that the S5 will hold on until 2019. 2021-2022 custom rom. I still have 4.4.2 but I want 6.0 so badly. I also changed my PC operating system back in January, to 8.1 from 7. I still don't like windows 10. I guess the s9 is usless. I will probably get a a7[7]. That seems to fit me. Anyways I seem, in the past two years to had a interest in tehnology, music, and forums. I visit this forum only ocassionaly because I usually forget about it. ;). I love the second, third, fourth-to first operating systems. Now I like android 6. In 2017 5. 2016 4.4. 2015, 4.2, 2014, 4.1. For windows 2018, 8.1,2017,2016 7 , and windows xp in 2015 and behind. I don't like the latest and greatest. I like a-little-long-in-the-tooth tech, but not too-old[above 7 years] That's some useless information for y'all:p.
