What do you think about survivalists/preppers?

I read this earlier, worrying but it's been a long time coming. They always say to finish the course, but who really does. And antibiotics get handed out like sweets now for just about anything

They did here in the UK too until a few years back. Now you might get ABs if you have a severe strep throat or a chest infection bordering on pneumonia at the very least.

Although Doctors handing out ABs like sweets (candy ?) is a cause for concern it is the wholesale use of antibiotics as a preventative a growth booster in the industrialised farming industry that is the main culprit of rendering ABs useless against some common strains of infectious bacteria.

And be careful out there, gonorrhea once treatable by good old penicillin has got some strains that have gone further than being susceptible to only one or two ABs as in this link, but have become immune. Gonorrhea can kill you and left untreated will make you infertile be you man or woman.
