What do you think the 4g smartphone data prices will be?

As the title says, I am curious to see what you all think the Verizon 4g smartphone data plans will cost?
I have read everywhere about whoever it was from Verizon being quoted as saying there will not be an unlimited data plan for smartphones using 4g.

I am going to be ready for an upgrade next month but I plan on waiting around for the Droid Bionic to be released UNLESS the new 4g plans are more expensive. I refuse to spend any more on data than I do now for the unlimited plan. If the price change is drastic I will probably go ahead and upgrade next month to a 3g phone and stick with the $30 unlimited plan.

So what do you guys think will be the tiers of data packages and the cost for each?

I don't even have a guess about the prices, but if ends up being $25-30 for 2GB cap, I will drop Verizon in a heartbeat.

Yeah I'm not going to pay close to what I am now and have them cap it at 2gb. It also kind of worries me that they will take away unlimited for 3g as well.. I hadn't thought of that until now. I assume they probably won't though since they are advertising the iphone with an unlimited plan.

I'm not worried about them taking away my unlimited 3g. I can get grandfathered into keeping that. I'm just sick of all the crap Verizon is trying to pull in anticipation for the flood of iPhone users. A bad pricing/plan for 4G is the final straw for me.

I'm right there with ya.. not sure what alternative I would go to though. Any idea where you would take your service if you bail on verizon?

Where I'm living right now, Verizon and every other carrer has little to no service. If Verizon does charge a stupid rate for 4G, I will hold on to my Incredible for a few months until most carriers get some nice dual core Androids and pick the cheapest one. Probably Sprint or T-Mobile though.
