What do you use to watch your videos?

Hey everyone,

What do you use to watch videos on your Nexus 7? What app? I mainly watch anime that I transfer over to the Nexus 7 from my Mac.

At first, I used the "Play" app(the red film icon), but it got too hard to keep track of what episode I was on since it doesn't mark them as watched or let the user delete old episodes. Then I switched to MXPlayer Pro and it was great, but the lack of 100% full screen killed it for me. There were always these 3 annoying dots at the bottom of the video. The dots are the soft buttons. Now I'm using the "Gallery" app. I can delete old episodes so its much easier to manage my media. What app do you use?

P.S - Is the "Gallery" app what Google expects people to use to watch videos? Also is the "Gallery" app the stock and default video player on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? Just wondering.

I'm currently using Plex to access media from my home server on my Nexus 7, but I use MX Player on my other Android devices.
I am generally playing either older divx .avi files or .mp4 files that are more recently encoded.

I switched from the default player to MX player and I like it very much. Don't really know what the paid version of the app offers but the free version is very nice.

I've tried ArcMedia and xyPlayer,
I think arcMedia didn't work at all, and xyPlayer payed at a very slow framerate (playing some xvid files)
VLC Beta doesn't work at all, just closes as soon as you open it.

Then came XBMC, much more than a player, but does play the same xvid files very well. (I am running an onofficial build I found on xda-developers)

I have switched to the tablet version of mvideo player. It works very well with DVD's I have ripped with Handbreak. It as a zoom function which fills the screen without distorting the picture. Does not add poster art like the phone version does, but very nice app.
