What do you want to be remembered for?

It's getting toward the end of summer, the seasons are changing, and I start waxing philosophical. I kind of evaluate my life, what have I accomplished, where am I going? That kind of stuff.

After the whole VMA thing with a certain former child star, the thought came to my mind, in twenty years, is that something she's going to look back and be proud of? At the end of her life, is that something that she wants to be remembered for?

So, that brings me to the question, what do you want to be remembered for?

This is what I want to be remembered for? I want to be remembered for my mad bass guitar skills. I want to be remembered for putting words on a page that made people think. I want to be remembered for being unapologetically me. But most importantly, I want to be remembered for making a positive impact on the world, even if it's just one person. I want to be remembered for saying something that brought someone hope. I want to be remembered for bringing someone a little closer to God. I want to be remembered for giving someone a laugh when they most needed it. I want to be remembered for giving to the world and not taking away from it.

I don't care about fame or fortune (I would just be happy living a debt free existence). That's me. So what about you?

My integrity. When all else has failed me, I've always had that. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

I want to be remembered as a good man and father. Someone who has changed lives.

A man who lived a good wholesome life, and most of all, for me at least, someone who served the Lord with all his heart.
