Aqua mail, k9 mail, blue mail, outlook, to name a few
I've used Gmail for quite a few years, in fact some of my emails still use the original '@googlemail' address.
It does everything I need and have never had a problem with it.
The 'Archive' function keeps my Inbox empty and the 'Label' function creates virtual folders to make keep everything organised and easily accessible.
Nine is good for Outlook and Exchange accounts, and works fine for IMAP these days (I use it for my GMail as well as Outlook and Exchange accounts). Of course it's not free after the trial period, but I prefer a paid app to one where I'm wondering how they fund it.
I've used Gmail in the past but it does not have a "saved mail" option that I could find

I have email in 'All mail' going back to 2008.
