What email app?

So I have been using the stock email app but I find that you can’t move email to a saved folder and then important emails get automatically deleted even if you “star’ them. Is there a better email app?

I've used Gmail for quite a few years, in fact some of my emails still use the original '@googlemail' address.

It does everything I need and have never had a problem with it.

The 'Archive' function keeps my Inbox empty and the 'Label' function creates virtual folders to keep everything organised and easily accessible.

Outlook works great.

And if you use Yahoo, their own email app is unavoidable.

Nine is good for Outlook and Exchange accounts, and works fine for IMAP these days (I use it for my GMail as well as Outlook and Exchange accounts). Of course it's not free after the trial period, but I prefer a paid app to one where I'm wondering how they fund it.

Hi, the Gmail Archive function is the equivalent to saving an email. An archived email no longer appears in the Inbox but can be found in 'All mail' where it will stay until you decide to delete it.

I have email in 'All mail' going back to 2008.
