What happened to screen rotation?!

carterco

Lurker
So I updated my phone, about a week ago, and the screen rotation is totally f*%#&d. Watching YouTube, and on chrome, the screen refuses to rotate to the right, but works fine when rotating to the left. When I try to go back to portrait on YouTube videos it takes 4 tries to get it to rotate back. It's gotten to the point where I don't rotate it, I just turn rotation lock on through the drop-down menu. What the he'll happened?

What phone do you have?
It's possible that your sensor callibration got messed up in the update and you need to manually recallibrate. Jump into your settings and dig around and you should be able to perform a series of waving your phone around d tasks that will improve your device's response to movement.
Let us know if/where you find this and if it works for you!

I can't find anything for calibration. Even the search function doesn't find anything.

Try downloading this free app to callibrate your phone:

<br> I haven't tried it myself, but it's worth testing to see if this simple callibration of the accelerometer will fix your problem. Let us know!
It worked. It made me reset my device, which I hadn't tried before, but it seems to be working properly now. Thanks
