Help What happened to the good voice dictation ?

I used to be able to press a mic button just to the left of the spacebar. Voice translation was fast and good. Now, without updating, that button is gone. Downloaded Google Voice and now when dictating it takes longer, doesn't allow sentence finishing, and gives multiple choices. Yuck.

Settings ---> Language and input ----> Mirror Go (???? don't recall downloading this), Samsung KB, SwiftKey KB.

How to get back what was there before and worked so well.

What keyboard and voice translation programs work best?

Thank you.

This is how the keyboard now looks. Before there was a microphone emblem key to the left of the space bar. Why did the comma button appear? How to eliminate the comma button?

No replies! Seems this was a difficult problem. Found the answer, and the keyboard is now back to the prior useful state.

What was the answer? (I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 ... Hardware Version: G900V.05 ... Android 6.0.1 ... not rooted ... Keyboard shows a button to the left of the comma that has these choices: ABC, Sym, recently used emoticons, 5 categories of emoticons)

Oh. I forgot the precise details, but one app was disabled. So go to the section of disabled apps and activate it. Think it was called Google Voice.

I have Google Voice 0.4.7.10 and application manager has these choices for it: 'uninstall' and 'force stop'. Still no voice recognition happiness... Am I missing something else?

I checked again some time later without making any more changes and the microphone feature is now available. Thanks!
