What is AT&T best phone?

Based on the following:
  1. Best battery life
  2. 4.7 in. screen or smaller
  3. Quad core or dual core
  4. 4G LTE of course

"Best" is always subjective.

Best for me is my Nexus 4. Since I don't get LTE where I am, it doesn't make a difference, but it does everything else you want, AND it's first to update with no carrier crap installed and no contract.

If LTE is deal breaker the HTC One X seems to be very highly regarded.

There is the Galaxy S3, that's an option.

Your suggestions for a "perfect phone" are as follows...

4.7 in. screen or smaller: The S3 has a 4.8 inch screen. Though it's a tenth of an inch larger I don't think you'll mind that.
Quad core or dual core: It has a dual-core CPU. So that's good.
4G LTE of course: Yep, got that.
Best battery life: This is where the S3 falls a bit short.

Hey, three out of four ain't bad.

You could always wait for the S4 that's soon to be out. Only problem is that the S4 has a larger 5-inch screen as versus the 4.7-inch screen that you're looking for.

Myself, I'm going to pre-order the S4. That's going to be one very beautiful phone. I plan on making a lot of people that I know jealous with that device. :D

Atrix HD is a piece of crap. My Galaxy S2 started having power button issues and random reboots, and my upgrade isn't available until May. I bought a refurbished Atrix HD on eBay. IMO, this is a midgrade Android device.
