what is considered battery drain for the galaxy s3 while in use?

I just got this phone a week ago. When I use the phone, I average a 1% drain every two minutes. Is this normal? It feels like it goes down fast. ( there is a typo in the title, it is supposed to say what is considered normal* battery drain for galaxy s3 while in use)

If you are saying that your batteries is essentially dead in a little over 3 hours then you are either a very heavy user, you have some settings wrong, are in a very poor reception area or you have a bad battery. I am not a very heavy user (probably slightly below average) and my battery will last 12 to 14 hours

I believe the OP is asking about battery drain when actually using the phone, not including standby. I would agree mine goes pretty fast perhaps 1% every 2-4 minutes. Its pretty shocking watching it! But over the course of a day I don't use it constantly so I normally make it through. Battery drain on standby is more like 1 - 1.5% per hour
