What is HTC Likes?

"HTC Likes" - I've done a search for this but couldn't find an answer...
...but quite simpy: What is "HTC Likes"?

From what I can gather they're apps made by HTC, such as a radio, browser, translator etc.

"HTC Likes" is a portal on the phone which lists applications etc from the Android Market that it recommends.

I can't download anything from htc likes,when I select something to download,the page shows loading and doesn't stop.what should I do?
