Help What is "interface" mean?

[Android Question]

We just got the Kurio Extreme tablet for the kids and I was wondering what "interface" means. It has the option to "activate" it or not and I don't know what it even is or if I should have it activated or not. Can somebody please help this completely computer/technology-illiterate person understand? (Keep in mind, I feel like I was born yesterday with regards to technology/computers/electronics in general!!)
