I really shake my head in dismay when I see so many 5 star reviews on various music players and supposed system wide equalizers.
The reason?
Other than poweramp and neutron player, the equalizer is basically crap.
What happens is, if you move the higher frequency up, it will cut the desired low bass frequency down and vice versa. I have Xiia internet radio app which had an awesome EQ till they did an update, now it sounds like the run of the mill others media players and EQs on the market.
What's up with this?
My little Sandisk spanks an android phone music quality wise (Other than poweramp).
I don't use poweramp because the lack the feature of speed/pitch control. Yeah, I'm strange like that, I speed up my music just a hair, it's how I've always rolled.
