What is Launcher Pro?

I keep reading in threads Launcher Pro.. what is it exactly?

LauncherPro (LP) is a third party Launcher that is free. It gives you features that your phone doesn't already, like the 3D app drawer. It allows you the ability to customize your phone beyond what your phone allows you to do. You can have over 15 apps on your dock with the ability to swipe your dock for features. The dock can also notify you of the number of miss calls, unread sms or gmail. You can change the columns and rows and number of screens. You can create a loop in your homescreens, i.e from page 7 swiping to the right gets you to page 1. LauncherPro Plus (LP+) is the paid version ($2.99) and it gives you the ability to resize your widget as well as Sense like widgets.

Some other launchers you might want to test out before you buy anything includes: ADW.Launcher and GoLauncher.

I use Launcher Pro on my phone and my tablet. The ability to adjust the number of rows and columns of icons is indispensable for the tablet, and the callender and bookmark icons are great. The paid version is well worth the three bucks.

this should be a sticky.

motoblur is probably the biggest complaint from nerds about this phone, and they're right. from a style standpoint, it has none. it's hideous!

different launcher and widgets are a must on this device. i prefer adw ex.


...and as i figured out earlier today, the sideload wonder machine is the greatest thing ever.
